INTRODUCTION
Guild, headquartered in Dallas, is a leading provider of electrical and telecommunication services throughout Texas and in selected markets throughout the country. The principal business areas of the company are:
- Commercial and industrial electrical services, including ground-up construction; office, data center, retail, and other facility build-out; UPS, DC, and other power installations and upgrades; high-voltage installations; scheduled and as-needed electrical repairs and service; multi-floor and small-scale office build-outs and remodels; emergency generator storage and deployment; and 24-7 emergency response.
- Specialized telecommunications installation, testing, and related electrical services, such as construction and servicing of DC power plants, communications hubs, and switch sites; installation, testing, and turn-up of telecommunications equipment and systems; elevator shaft and other building cable installations; fiber splicing and testing.
- Disaster recovery and emergency response, including plan review and testing, emergency response and crew deployment, project management and oversight, portable generator deployment, maintenance, and re-fueling and maintenance services and bulk fuel transport, work camp operation, management and support, such as food catering and sewer disposal.
- Power systems services, including installation and service of UPS systems, DC power plant design, installation and maintenance, fixed generator installation and maintenance, portable generator storage, maintenance and deployment, and bulk fuel tank transport.
OUR PEOPLE
Guild maintains a highly trained and experienced labor workforce at all times. Our senior technicians and Journeyman Inside Wireman have completed an extensive five-year apprenticeship program. Telecommunications technicians continue their ongoing education through continuing education workshops and manufacturer-specific training.
Guild's project management team is well accustomed to the time, budgetary, and operational constraints typically associated with the electrical and telecommunications industries. Our project managers pride themselves on our rapid deployment and fast-track capabilities. Team leaders and project managers perform quality assurance inspections on all work to assure compliance with applicable codes and standards-such as NEC, NFPA, Bell Core GR 1275, local building codes, and customer specifications-as well as our own expectations of the highest quality of service.
